Palazzo Motor Hotel - NBA conference special rate

The Palazzo Motor Hotel, which is 2mins walk from the conference at the Rutherford Hotel, have provided a special rate for beekeepers attending the NBA conference.

They have reduced their rate from $185 to $130 a night and all you have to do is mention you are attending the conference when you make a booking.

The studio, one and two bedroom units are really nice – up market with each unit having its own kitchen. You can call them on 0800 472 5293 or 03 545 8171.

The Branch Competition this year is to enter the Roy Paterson Trophy Competition

One compulsory entry per branch - $50 penalty to a nominated charity for any branch reneging on entering.

Beekeepers are renowned for their innovative ideas and inventions
The Roy Paterson Trophy provides the chance for everyone to exhibit their ideas and inventions.

To enter each contestant must exhibit the invention at the conference or provide a clear decisive photo and comprehensive description of the invention.

Honey competition - rules, entry and declaration forms

Only two more months until the first New Zealand National Honey Show at the 2010 NBA conference in Nelson.

The inaugural competition has been established to raise standards in the production of honey and all other hive products - in addition, to providing lip smaking fun for attendees and public at the conference.
